Jr. sUAV / Integration Engineer

1. Overview


As a Junior sUAV Engineer / Junior Integration Engineer at DeltaQuad, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our autonomous aerial systems.

Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and implementing systems for sUAV platforms, integrating third-party sensors, engaging in flight testing, and troubleshooting hardware and/or software issues.


2. Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing controls for sUAV systems, focusing on safety and reliability in autonomous operations.

  • Integrating third-party sensors, communication/RF systems, and more into sUAV platforms.

  • Engaging in flight testing to evaluate and enhance system performance and feature implementation testing/validation.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware interfacing and software integration issues, ensuring smooth functionality across systems.

  • Driving hardware design and prototyping efforts to optimize sUAV performance.

  • Analyzing and test design solutions meticulously to ensure efficiency and reliability.

  • Working collaboratively on projects from inception through production, focusing on innovation and customer-driven solutions.

  • Fostering a collaborative environment, sharing insights and learning across functions to facilitate holistic development and innovation.

3. What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, UAS Control, or a related engineering field.

  • Practical experience or a strong academic background in PX4 development, ideally with programming skills in C++ or Python.

  • Familiarity with autonomous systems technology areas such as PX4, machine learning, perception, AI, and navigation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a capacity to work on complex multi-component systems.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Exposure to robotics navigation, control systems, and a foundational understanding of sUAV design and functionality.
